Here comes Captain Jack

Captain Jack Sadler, with the Hendricks County Sheriff’s Department, will be our speaker this Thursday, September 3rd, in the Exposition Hall at the Hendricks County 4-H Fairgrounds Conference Center. (Yes, it’s September! Can you believe it?) He will present a power point on the opioid program/problem facing Hendricks County. Jack is a 2019 graduate of Leadership Hendricks County, where this was one of the capstone projects.

Did you know that Danville Community School Corporation now has its own Police Department? Come to the Rotary meeting this Thursday in the Cartlidge Barn to hear what is new and what Chief Oliphant’s new position entails.
Please bring any raffle ticket money, both for the big one and for the September 17 golf outing VISA gift card.

DANVILLE FOOTBALL and other matters

Superintendent of Danville Community School Corporation, Tracey Shafer, will be our host for this week’s meeting of the Danville Rotary Club.  He has arranged for both Aimee Harvey, the new athletic director, and Jaymee Comer, the new head football coach, to be our speakers.  Please join us to welcome these two and find out what’s new at Danville Community High School.
